World Health Organisation recommends alcohol health labelling

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has recommended that alcoholic beverage labels should explicitly outline the health implications of alcohol consumption alongside information on ingredients and nutritional values. The WHO’s Health Evidence Network (HEN) argued that the lack of critical health information was concerning and that consumers should be informed about the harms associated with alcohol consumption.
