WHO report on global tobacco epidemic
A report on global tobacco-control measures produced by the World Health Organisation (WHO) has identified 36 countries that have introduced at least one of the WHO recommended tobacco-control policies since 2017. The report was launched in Brazil which was the second country, after Turkey, to introduce all the WHO tobacco-control recommendations at the highest level. The report also identified 59 countries that have not implemented any of the WHO recommended tobacco-control policies.
