US state of Indiana reports that 84% of adults gamble

The Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington has reported that an estimated 84% of adults in Indiana gambled in the past year. A survey of 2,700 households found that lotteries were the most popular form of gambling (71.7%), that 46.2% of respondents reported casino-based gambling and that 20.5% reported sports gambling. Participants aged between 18 and 34 were more likely to gamble than people aged over 34.
