US state of Georgia bans attorneys from working with cannabis industry

The Georgia Supreme Court has rejected an application to change the professional conduct rules in order to allow attorneys to provide advice on cannabis cultivation, sale and possession, activities that are legal in Georgia but that remain illegal at a federal level. The current laws prevent attorneys from providing counsel on activities that break federal laws.
