US representatives call for a ban on ‘Puff Bar’ vaping products for COVID-19 marketing

US representatives have asked the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ban ‘Puff Bar’ (a new brand of vaping product), amidst claims that the vaping company used the COVID-19 pandemic to encourage uptake among young people with products designed to enable teenagers to vape without their parents noticing. Puff Bar products are currently exempt from bans on flavoured refillable vaping products due to their disposable nature.
