UNODC World Drug Report 2021 published

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Drug Report 2021 has been released. The report highlights the impact of COVID-19 on drug use and drug trafficking.  The report indicates that there was a 22% increase in the number of people using drugs between 2010 and 2019. Opioids continue to be responsible for the largest burden of disease associated with drug use.
