UK legal highs profits to be paid back

Two people found guilty of selling ‘legal highs’ over 4 years in the UK have been ordered to pay back profits they made on selling the substances. Legal highs were banned in the UK in 2016 following implementation of the Psychoactive Substances Act. The sellers have paid back over £500,000 through the Civil Recovery Unit, much of which will be reinvested in local community projects.
