UK government responds to Dame Carol Black’s independent review of drugs

The UK’s Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Secretary of State for the Home Department and Sponsor Minister for Combating Drug Misuse have published a collective response to Dame Carol Black’s independent review of drugs. The government said that it has a moral duty to tackle the impact of drug misuse, and that it will publish a long-term strategy by the end of 2021.
