UK Food Standards Agency sets deadline for CBD approvals

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) in the UK has told businesses that sell cannabidiol (CBD) that they have until 31 March 2021 to submit products for authorisation. Products that have not been submitted by that date will have to be removed from sale. Retailers will be permitted to sell CBD products until the March 2021 deadline, as long as they are properly labelled and do not contain any other banned substances (such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)).
