Turkey bans alcohol sales during COVID-19 lock-down

Turkey recently banned all alcohol sales throughout a lock-down implemented to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. The alcohol ban, and lock-down, started on 29 April and ended on 17 May 2021. The alcohol ban was included to try to prevent people gathering to drink in groups.
