Trinidad and Tobago Senate approves gambling control bill

Trinidad and Tobago senators have passed the ‘Gambling (Gaming and Betting) Control’ bill. The new legislation will create a commission to regulate the gambling sector and to ensure revenue collection. Once fully established, the commission aims to collect an estimated $500 million per year compared with the $75 million per year currently collected.
