Tobacco group sues South African government over COVID-19 ban
The Fair-trade Independent Tobacco Association (FITA) has taken the South African government to the Pretoria High Court to challenge a recent ban on tobacco products. The ban was implemented in March 2020 to prevent the spread and harm of COVID-19. The hearing began on Wednesday 10 June 2020.
