Thailand approves cannabis products for cosmetics and food

Thailand’s government has announced plans to allow cannabis to be used in cosmetic and food products. The approval removes cannabis and hemp leaves, branches, stems, trunks, bark, fibre, and roots from the government’s banned narcotics list. The new legislation still requires final approval from Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration and public health minister.
