Taiwan proposes ban on vaping products and increase in the legal smoking age

If passed, the legislation would ban vaping products, ban flavoured cigarettes, raise the legal smoking age to 20 years old and enhance warning displays on cigarette packages. Under the new bill, new tobacco products will have to undergo health risk assessments before being manufactured or imported.
