Sweden proposes ‘special moderation’ gambling marketing

Sweden’s Ministry of Finance has announced plans to change the way gambling is marketed. The ministry has amended the Gambling Act to classify gambling in similar terms to those used for alcohol. Under the new regulations, ‘special moderation’ must be applied to all advertisements to ensure marketing is unobtrusive and does not entice people to partake.
