South Texas fentanyl seizures up by 1,066%

US Customs and Border Protection have reported that fentanyl seizures in south Texas increased to 588 lbs during 2021, an increase of 1,066% on the previous year. The amount of cocaine seized during the same period increased by 98%. During 2021, the total amount of illicit substances seized was estimated to be worth $786 million (approx. £576 million).
