Slovakia rejects CBD legislation

The Slovakian government has rejected a bill to legalise cannabidiol (CBD), making it the only country in Europe to maintain a ban on CBD. Cannabidiol remains a prohibited substance along with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), amphetamines, cocaine and morphine in Group 2 of the Psychotropic Substances Act. Currently, anyone wishing to handle CBD products in Slovakia must first gain permission from the Ministry of Health.
