Saudi Arabia bans tobacco sales to youths

The Saudi Arabian government has banned sales of tobacco products to people under the age of 18. The government has also banned smoking in areas occupied by children, and sales of toys or sweets that look like cigarettes. The new legislation is one of a range of measures intended to reduce smoking prevalence among the whole population to 5% by 2030.
