Report on NHS England Stop Smoking Services

The quarterly NHS England Stop Smoking Services report has been released, presenting results on the number of people who successfully quit smoking between April and September 2020. Of 81,280 smokers who set a quit date, 47,333 were successful (58.2%). Successful quit attempts were greatest among those over the age of 60 (61.1%) compared with those aged 18 and younger (47.6%).
