Report on child killings in Philippines’ war on drugs

The World Organisation Against Torture (OLMCT) and the Children’s Legal Rights and Development Centre (CLRDC) have published a report documenting 122 child killings in the Philippines between July 2016 and December 2019. The report identifies that over half of the killings were carried out by Philippines police or affiliates and describes cases of mistaken identity, ‘collateral damage’ and killings where children were used as proxies when primary targets could not be located.
