Over 1,600 cannabis plants seized by Taiwanese authorities

The Chiayi City Police Bureau has announced a record seizure of over 1,600 cannabis plants from a growing operation in Taiwan. The discovery was made in 19 newly built apartments in the southwestern Chiayi County and Chiayi City. The total value of the plants, products and equipment is estimated to be in excess of NT$500 million (approx. £13 million).
