New Zealand extends temporary medical cannabis regulations

The New Zealand government has extended the transitional system put in place to regulate medical cannabis products and licensing. The temporary measures, introduced in April 2020, were due to expire in April 2021; however, they have now been extended to September 2021 to ensure continued supply and allow suppliers additional time to apply to the Medicinal Cannabis Agency for verification.
