New measures to control drug trafficking introduced in Costa Rica

The Costa Rican government has announced that it will introduce new measures to control drug trafficking in the country following the seizure of 2 tons of cocaine packaged in containers of pineapples. The General Directorate of Customs has announced that all containers of pineapples and their derivatives are to be scanned for concealed drugs.
