New alcohol restrictions for tourists in Ibiza and Mallorca

The Spanish islands of Ibiza and Mallorca will introduce restrictions on alcohol sales to address problems experienced from tourism on those islands. The new restrictions will include a ban on excursions promoting excessive alcohol consumption (such as bar crawls) and offers that allow unlimited alcohol for a fixed price. The measures will mean that hotels in those areas will no longer be able to offer all-inclusive stays with access to unlimited alcohol.
