Nearly 40 overdoses in US state of Connecticut wrongly attributed to fentanyl-laced cannabis

Connecticut’s Department of Public Health has reported that at least 40 overdoses recorded last year were wrongly attributed to fentanyl-laced cannabis. Following an investigation, it was found that 30 of the 39 overdoses were among individuals with a history of opioid use. Patients required naloxone revival and denied any opioid use.
