Navajo Nation Council considers banning smoking in public places

The Navajo Nation Council (legislative branch of the Navajo Nation government, Arizona) will consider a law banning the use of tobacco products in public places, including at the tribe’s casinos and workplaces. The ‘Air is Life Act 2021’ would not ban the use of ceremonial tobacco or tobacco products inside homes.
