Mongolia bans alcohol sales during elections

The Mongolian government has scheduled a temporary ban on alcohol sales across the country during the upcoming parliamentary elections. The ban will remain in place for 72 hours in the capital city of Ulan Bator, and for 48 hours in the rest of the country. The ban will be in place on the day before, and the day of, national elections.
