Mexico court sets date on implementation of medical cannabis regulations

The Mexican government passed medical cannabis legislation in 2017; however, there are still no regulations to cover its provision. Mexico’s supreme court has now ordered the health ministry to publish regulations within 6 months to enable people to access medical cannabis. The court decision was made in response to a case concerning a child with epilepsy who has been unable to access medical cannabis due to the lack of regulations.
