Ireland ranked most expensive European country to buy alcohol and tobacco

The Eurostat’s Price Level Index has reported that the consumer price level of alcohol in Ireland is 180.7, almost 87% higher than the European average. Romania was the cheapest country in the EU for alcohol purchases, with a consumer price level of 73.8.
