Invidior CEO pleads guilty to misleading US regulator about Suboxone

The former CEO of pharmaceutical company Invidior, Shaun Thaxter, has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanour charge relating to sharing false and misleading information about Suboxone’s safety. The charges relate to information shared with the Massachusetts state regulator in 2012, following which, the regulator approved Suboxone for Medicaid patients with children aged under 6 years. Thaxter stepped down from Invidior’s board on 29 July 2020.
