India and Myanmar to share drug trafficking intelligence

Following a report highlighting increased drug seizures in the region, India and Myanmar’s governments met in early December 2020 to agree an information sharing protocol for drug trafficking operations. The protocol will focus on heroin and methamphetamine trafficking across the India and Myanmar border, as well as trafficking in the Bay of Bengal.
