Increase in frequency of alcohol consumption in South Korea during COVID-19 lock-down

According to figures from the Alcohol Industry Information Survey of 2,000 people aged 19 to 59, the frequency with which people in South Korea drank alcohol increased to an average of 9 days per month during COVID-19 lock-down. This increase follows a steady decline in drinking frequency from 8.8 days per month in 2017 to 8.5 days per month in 2019.
