Georgia opens drug monitoring centre

Georgia has opened a National Centre for Drug Abuse Monitoring. The centre aims to collect and disseminate data on drug use, to aid the implementation of evidence-based practice and to inform drug policy on a national level. The centre is to be led by the Georgian Department of International Public Law and the Ministry of Justice.
