French adolescents’ alcohol, cannabis and tobacco use in decline
The French Observatory for Drugs and Drug Addiction (OFDT) has reported that alcohol, tobacco and cannabis use among 11- to 15-year-olds in France decreased between 2014 and 2018. The survey reported that 16.5% of participants had used cannabis during 2018, a decrease of 12 percentage points since 2014. One-third of French adolescents in the survey said they had consumed nicotine in 2018, down from one-half in 2018.
