European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) report on European drug use

The EMCDDA’s annual European drug report on drug use estimates that just over one-in-four people (27%) in the EU have ever used cannabis. The report estimates current and lifetime drug use for 30 European countries and reports on trends in trafficking, seizures and treatment for addiction. Estimated last-year use across the EU was 7.6% for cannabis, 1.3% for cocaine, 2.7% for MDMA and 0.6% for amphetamines.
