Drug testing service opens in British Columbia, Canada

A free drug testing service run by the Vancouver Island Drug Checking Project has opened in British Columbia. The service uses several different methods to test the contents and purity of substances brought to them by the public. They also offer strip tests that can quickly determine the presence of fentanyl and benzodiazepines. The Vancouver Island Drug Checking Project was developed by people working at the University of Victoria.
