Cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin use rise in Australia during COVID-19 pandemic

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission’s drug monitoring program report based on wastewater analysis has indicated that record levels of cocaine and cannabis have been used in Australia’s capital cities during the COVID-19 lock-down. Methamphetamine use, however, appears to have decreased in every state, territory, and capital city.
