Australia issues $170,000 in fines over vaping product imports and advertising

Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has issued $170,000 (approx. £90,000) in fines for unlawful importation and advertising of vaping products. Since laws banning both activities came into effect in October 2021, the drugs regulator has issued four individuals and companies with infringement notices. One organisation has faced more than $100,000 (approx. £53,000) in fines.
