A quarter of Scots reported ‘at risk’ drinking during pandemic

According to data from a survey using the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test, 27% of Scottish people were found to be at increasing or higher risk of harmful drinking, or possible risk of alcohol dependence. Of those reporting increased alcohol consumption during the COVID-19 pandemic, 30% said they had done so due to stress and anxiety.
